Rowan Moore (born on December 23, 1965 in Eilat, Israel) is Israeli born, English raised Dutch singer, musician and model. Before she started in the group Centerfold she was a fashion model. Centerfold was active from 1984 to 1989 and consisted of Laura Fygi and Cecilia de la Rie in addition to Moore. During performances, the ladies were in principle dressed in sexy lingerie and provocative creations by fashion designers Jean-Paul Gaultier and Azzedine Alaia, among others. They had hits in Europe but also in Japan. Moore handled the art direction and styling, was responsible for the choreography and co-wrote songs, such as the hit "Dictator". She worked on the group's video clips and produced the music video for the Golden Earring cover "Radar Love" together with director Flip van Vliet, for which she invited lead singer Barry Hay to play a supporting role as "angry father". After Centerfold, Laura Fygi and Rowan Moore sang in The Backlot. This group released only a few singles and a self-titled mini-CD and broke up again in 1990. In July 1989 Moore made her debut as a TV presenter in the second episode of the VPRO series Cycling through the 80s. On October 2, 1993 she presented the opening show Saturday Night Five on the first broadcast evening of RTL 5. Subsequently, she made several musician friends various musical trips.
